Add "Owner Bid Date" and replace "GC Bid Date" with "Sub-Contractor Bid Date"
Just a heads up, some subs are getting confused over "GC bid date", because of room for interpretation.
If we had one that says, “Owner Bid Date” and another one that says, “Sub-Contractor Bid Date” it might distinguish exactly what we are looking for.
Some even in the office here interpret that “GC Bid Date” is when GC submits bid to Owner, while others may interpret that this is for “Sub-contractors to submit to GC.
Having “Owner Bid Date” would tremendously clear that up! And instead of GC bid date, replace “GC” with Sub-Contractor. Because GCs submit their quotes to the Owner on Owner bid date anyways.
For now we are just hiding “GC Bid Date” and keeping just “the Bid Date” and “the Bid Date” ....for us anyways... IS when we need Sub-Contractor bids….and that is all they will see…I hope.
