User Authority Roles Explained
In your User's record, you must assign an authority “Role”. Below is an explanation of each Role:
a. Admin.
Can do
everything.
b. Manager.
Cannot do the
following: Cannot change users’ passwords, delete
projects, delete/edit subcontractor/company notes, manage Groups, access the Master Fax Log, and cannot export Contact
Data.
c. User.
Same restrictions
as Manager, and also cannot manage Divisions & Trades, List users, and
cannot add a user.
d. Guest.
Same restrictions
as User, and also cannot Add a project, cannot add, edit or publish a Bid Form or Bid Form Template in PreconTabs, cannot access the Planroom, cannot export a Bidders List to Excel, and
cannot add or edit a Company or Contact in a company record (they can edit
contact name, phone, or email address on certain list screens such as Select
Bidders and Bid Lists).
