How to Flag Awarded Bidders & Track Award Metrics

This article explains how to flag Awarded Bidders, and to view Award Metrics. The benefits of tracking Awarded bidders are:
  • Use historical Award % data to help focus time on your more competitive bidders.
  • Use the feature to restrict planroom to only Awarded bidders, and post final For Construction drawings.
  • If you are using the Procore Integration, Awarded Bidders and their bid proposals push into your Procore Directory so you do not have to add them.

Here are the steps to start tracking Award %:

 
There are two ways to do this. One is within a project's Settings screen, and the other is to default the Award Column to always show.  
  1. To include the "Award" column in your bidders list on a job-by-job basis:
    
    a) Go into the project Settings, then scroll down to "Award Column" and change to "Show", then Update Settings. The advantage of this method is to limit the number of columns on your bidders list, adding Award when you are ready to flag Awarded bidders.

     
    



  2.  Default the "Award" column to always show in your bidders list. 

         Go to Settings.



    Then click System Preferences.



    Then click Bidder List.



    Change Bid Awarded to "Show", then Update Settings.



    3. Flag Awarded Bidders.

    View Bidders, and checkmark which bidder you want to award in each Trade or Bid Package.



    Viewing Awarded Metrics

          a) Within a Company Record, in the upper right. 



          b) When Selecting Bidders, By Trade-Individually.

          
           
           c) Response Metrics Reports. Go to Reports, Response Metrics (By Trade or by Alphabetical).
