Create Additional User Role for Controlled Project Setup
We would like to suggest the introduction of an additional user role that allows certain users to set up new projects while restricting their ability to modify core database elements.
The proposed role would be similar to the "Guest Role" but have the following added capabilities:
- Ability to create and set up new projects
- Ability to input and manage project-specific information
- Ability to select from existing trades and companies
Restrictions
- Cannot add or modify trade categories
- Cannot add or edit company records within the database
This role would ensure that only Manager and Admin roles maintain control over trades and company data.
The system avoids duplicate, inconsistent, or improperly entered information.
Database integrity is preserved while still allowing efficient project setup by other team members
