Be able to select bidders by distance from zip code of project
Currently when selection bidders you have to go through or entire list even if they are 500 miles away from the project and would never bid on it. By being able to search by distance from zip code do not have to go through the entire list only the bidders that are with so many miles of the project.
27 votesThe new Select Bidders function has been added!
This new feature is accessible within your project via Project Options>Select Bidders>By Trade-ALL. The function adds all subs within your selected trades to your bidders list, with the option to filter out by Zip code radius and/or by one or more groups.
The other method of selecting bidders is still there. Its menu button has been changed to “Select Bidders>By Trade-Individually”. You can use the new function to select all the subs within your trades, and then go back and use the old method to deselect individual subs if you don’t want to invite everyone.
We hope this new feature saves you time!

Set up an automated email reminder - to trades who are unconfirmed
When trades are "unconfirmed" and you need to know who is pricing - have an automated email that is set to be sent to all "unconfirmed" (x) days before closing and continue to send each day or every other day till they respond.
24 votesIn a project, you will notice a new tab called “Alerts”. You can now set an automated alert to resend your Bid Invitation to those that haven’t responded. It will keep sending until they respond, starting “x” days before bid date, sending every “x” days up until “x” days before bid date. You can also add a couple words before the Emailed Subject line to get their attention, as well as after the Invitation title. By default, it will say “PLEASE RESPOND”, but you can edit those words. You have the option to send based on the sub’s default sending setting, or you can not send to anyone that is set to send via fax.

Delete an Addendum
Have the ability to check a box and delete an Addendum. Have multi level confirmation before you delete it. This should certainly be available for Unsent Adendums. Sent Adendums should remain part of the job record.
22 votesYou can now delete an Addendum that hasn’t been sent. There are two places you can delete: 1) On your list of Addenda (via the Addenda tab). 2) Project Options> View/Send Add.

When creating new sub, show similar company names to prevent creating a duplicate company/contact.
When creating a new sub company (Contacts > Add Contact), show similar companies already entered to help prevent adding a duplicate contact.
22 votesThis has been added. After entering a Company name and tabbing to the next field, the system will alert you to any existing records with the same company name in it. You can then quick-view the company to see if it’s the same one you wanted to add. You also have the option to Copy Company in case you want to add another contact for the same company. Also, within a contact’s record, there is a new Copy Company button.

Add "Received-yes" as a filter for notices
We like to send out a notice after we receive the bid results for a job to let the subcontractors know whether or not we have been awarded a project. I would like to be able to select just those subcontractors who submitted a bid for the project, but that is currently not an option for sending out notices. Would you consider adding "Received - yes" as a filter for sending out notices?
21 votesYou can now Send a Notice to “Bid Rcvd-Yes”.
Thanks for all your feedback and votes, and thanks for JL Moore for submitting the idea!

Under subcontractors provide a rating / grading system, or expand the Notes section.
Two possible ideas: 1) Allow user to assign a grade in a Sub's contact record (A through F), and then have a User Preference to Show or Not Show the Grade in a column when selecting bidders.
2) Allow user to grade each sub after each project. In a sub's contact record, add "Grade" as a column in his Projects tab, and show an Average Grade in his record and also on the Select Bidders screen as in option #1 above.21 votesThis is done, you can now rate subs in their record, or on the Select Bidders by Trade-Individually screen (in your User Preferences, change to “Show”). I will soon be added to the Bidders List as an optional column (Admin> System Preferences> Bidder List Preferences)

Some improvements were made in an effort to get more subs to respond. First, the Response Link and the sentence in front of it are now in bold font.
Second, the Response Link was added to all Addenda, reminding the sub of their response status. For those that haven’t responded, the sentence reads in bold: “You have not responded to let us know if you are bidding or not. Please use the Response Link to let us know.”For those that have responded “Yes”, it reads: "You responded “YES” that you will be bidding.
If you have changed your mind, please let us know via the link below:
>>> EDIT RESPONSE <<<".For those that responded “No”, the new sentence reads: "You have responded “NO”, that you will not be bidding. We are sending you this notice in case any new information might change your mind.

Allow subs to upload their bid. Make it downloadable from Bidders List.
Create a System Preference that would allow my subs to upload their bid. Make it downloadable from the Bidders List.
19 votesYou have the option to allow your subs to upload bids back to you. They would show up as an icon that you can click and view/download from your Bid List. In addition, they will be stored in the sub’s record under their Files tab. Your Administrator can activate this feature in Admin> System Preferences> Bidder List Preferences, Bid Upload.

Create a PipelineSuite Mobile Ap
Ceate an app that allows me to use this on my mobile devices. I would like to be able to reference which subs have confirmed or add/delete subs from a project while away from my desk, as well as look up sub contact information.
19 votesThis is completed in its first phase, pulling up your subs and calling them or emailing from quickly from your phone. Next steps are to launch on Android, and then add whatever features our users would like next!

Option to show a contact's notes on select bidders screen
Create an admin user preference to include a contractor/contact's notes (maybe the first several words or 30 characters) such as "Does not do T.I. work" etc. so that when selecting, you remember when not to select them. Just like the new user preference to include or exclude phone number.
18 votesNew setting allows users to show contact notes on the Select Bidders screen. To activate this setting, go to Admin>My Record>User Preferences, and change the “Contact Notes” selection from “Hide” to “Show”.
Also new…Users can now hide City, State, or the Groups column on the select bidders screen.

New Idea: Color coding for easy viewing on each project
On the Calendar page, it would be good if we can color code the projects for each day or choose a different color per Estimator who is working on that particular project.
Ex: if we have 3-4 projects due the same day, and it’s color coded, then we can find it easily. Rather than all jobs colored in Blue on the Main Board. Thanks17 votesThis feature has been added! You can now color code projects on your calendar for each of your users. Go to Admin> List Users, open a user then click User Preferences to edit colors.

There is now a spell check feature on the Scope/Plans/Other Info text boxes for Firefox and Chrome browsers. You will notice a squiggly red line under misspelled words. Unfortunately the spell check does not work in Microsoft Internet Explorer at this time, but we wanted to at least add the feature to the other available browsers for our users. If you have not tried Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browsers, we highly recommend them. Most users claim that they are faster and less problematic than Microsoft Internet Explorer. You can download either browser for free at firefox.com or chrome.com .
