Make Project Public

The "Make project public" check-box on the Project Summary screen can help you reach more subcontractors that may or may not be in your database.

The three benefits to this feature are:
  1. Allows all subs in your database to view the project in your private planroom even if they were not invited. For example, a vendor in another state that you didn't think to invite because you thought they were too far from the job site, but you don't mind if they submit a bid. They would see the project in your planroom's "All Projects" tab as "Open". If  they mark "Yes" to bidding, they would automatically be added to your bidders list as a "Yes".

  2. The project will be posted on our PreconBid network for subs in the local area to find, so it can expand your reach to additional subcontractors.

  3. If you are posting projects on your company website, this is the check-box to do that (the other trigger is to send an invite to at least one subcontractor).
Note: To learn how to post projects on your company website: Post projects on your company website.
