HCSS HeavyBid Pre-Construction Projects Integration
- Import (pull) projects from HCSS into PreconSuite.
- Create (push) projects from PreconSuite into HCSS.
- Map projects that were created separately in each system.
- Project Name
- Project Number
- Site Meeting Date (called "Pre-Bid Meeting" in HCSS)
- Bid Date
Integration Instructions:
(Note: If you have not connected PreconSuite with HCSS via the PreconSuite Connector in the HCSS Marketplace, follow the steps in our Setup article).

- Click Projects in the left menu to launch your Projects list.
NOTE: If you haven't mapped your Business Unit(s), you will be prompted to Select a Business unit to map first. (Refer to our HCSS HeavyBid Integration Setup article if you need more information).
- The next screen will show your Projects. Click "Import Projects" if you would like pull projects from HCSS and import them into PreconSuite.
You can use the pull-down to find and click on one or more, or search by Project Name and select.
- Another option is to push projects from PreconSuite into HCSS using the "Create" button.
- The third option is to map projects that are already created in both systems. Click on the HCSS Project Name pull-down to find the project, then click the "Map" button to the right.
- If you already have several projects in both systems that you would like to map, click the "Predict Mappings" button.
- To filter your Projects by Only Mapped or Only Unmapped, click the Filter button in the upper right.
- If your company has more than one Business Unit, you can switch Business Units at the top of the screen.
- Settings:
a. Automation:
The Automation default setting is to Auto-update Projects, but you can change the settings as shown below.
b. Caching:
Click the "Force Refresh Project Cache" button if you recently created a project in HCSS but do not see it in the "Import Projects" list. (We use Caching to speed the page-load times of your HCSS projects).
If the setting "Auto-update Projects" is unchecked, you will need to click the Sync button at the top of the Projects screen.
The setting in the lower left allows you to Log Out or switch to another Integration.
