Add a Sub-contractor Pre-qualification automated function
Be able to create a Prequalification form, including entering our own custom questions. Subs that get it via email complete the form online, and saves a copy in their record under their Files tab. The form can also be modified and copied to the GC's website for new subs to sign up, including selecting their trades and Groups. Upon signing up, the GC is sent an email alert to "Accept", which will automatically add them to the database.
15 votesThis function is now accessible live in your new menu option called PreQual.

Have a header at the top where the divisions are accessible when selecting individual bidders w/o having to scroll up each time
...Or, if that is not possible, include a back to top button always visible in the bottom corner of the page.
15 votesGood news! We recently added this feature you voted for.
When you select bidders By Trade-Individually, you no longer have to scroll back to the top. The row of Divisions now freeze at the top.
Thanks for your feedback and votes!

In advanced send feature - there should be an option to sort/send by group
Being able to send to a group of subs in a specific project would be beneficial.
14 votesYou can now send an Invitation or Addendum to one or more Groups. From the Preview/Send Invitation or Preview/Send Addendum screen, there is now a “By Group” sending option to the left of “Advanced”. Just check the boxes next to one or more Groups you want to send to. As an example of where this function can be useful is to send to MBE and WBE subs as a separate or second sending batch. The sub would need to be in any one of the Groups to receive the notice (not in all of them).
In order to make room for this new sending option, we deleted the “Declined” sending option since that was rarely, if ever, being used. -
create a way to merge companies & contacts.
Provide a way to combine contacts or companies that have been duplicated by slightly different names or when personnel move from company to company.
13 votesMerge Companies is live! Open a company and you will see the Merge Company button upper right. Then find what company(s) you want to merge into that company.

Be able to change the heading "Invitation to Bid".
Would be nice to change the heading "Invitation to Bid" sometimes. Such as "Invitation to Bid - Second Notice" rather than using the Addendum function.
13 votesYou can now change the heading from INVITATION TO BID to whatever you want. Go to Admin>My Record>User Preferences.

Provide a function to copy contacts
When we work with companies that have multiple contacts, we enter each person as a unique contact. It would be more convenient and less error prone to be able to be able to copy a contact record rather than re-entering the company information.
13 votesThis has been added. In a contact, there is now a button to Copy Company, which will copy everything except the contact name, Trades, and Groups.

This feature is done! You can now copy a project, with the option to copy all the files from OPR and the list of bidders. You also have the option to deselect any trades that are not needed on the new/copied project. This is available at:
Projects> Copy Project -
Report of which subs have accessed OPR.
Show a list of subs with a column showing who accessed OPR and on what date.
12 votesYou can now see which subs logged into your plan room on a project by going to Project Options>Bidder Lists>OPR Access Report. The “Last Access” column tells you the last date they logged in.

Ability to add/change CSI codes to multiple subcontractors in Divisions
CSI codes change from project to project, and many times you have a new, very particular code on a certain project that you want to add to multiple subs. For example, we have an Electrical Division with a CSI code of 16010. We then get a project to bid on where we need to add a new spec section and assign this new spec to all of the existing Electrical Bidders. Currently there is no easy way to do this other than by going in to each Electrical Subcontractor and assigning this new section to them. Providing the ability to…
12 votesYou can now do this in Companies> Mass Assign Trades (Chose a trade, then check boxes next to companies you want to mass assign to that trade).

Add "Invitation to Bid" verbiage to email subject
Add "Invitation to Bid" in front of the project name in the email subject line. Seems to get more attention from bidders than just the project name. Even "ITB" may be sufficient.
12 votesThis is done! The setting is at Admin> My Record> User Preferences: Add Invitation Title in Email Subject

Please enable for multiple contacts to be exported out of pipeline
Please enable for multiple contacts to be exported out of pipeline.
Currently when you export there is only the option for the primary contact to be exported.
12 votesYou can now pull a Custom Report with all Contacts for a Company.
Go to Companies> Reports> Custom Reports.
After selecting which columns of data you want, the next step allows you to change “Contacts visible” to “Show All”.
Next screen shows an Excel icon upper right to export. -
Allow new subs to come to GC's company website and add themselves as a vendor.
After subs fill out their info on GC's website, which will send an email alert to the company admin to "Accept" or "Deny" the sub into the GC's pipelineRFQ database.
11 votesYou can now add a form to your website that allows you to direct subs to add themselves (upon your final approval). We will set up the form for you and work with your website developer to help. Email support@pipelinesuite.com for help in setting this up.

GC Bid Date as User Setting Preference
Let user choose to show or not show GC Bid Date on Invitations. Put it in Admin>My Record>User Preferences. Add a "Show GC Bid Date on Invite" and default it to "No".
11 votesThis is completed. If you want GC Bid Date to show up on your invite, go to Admin>My Record>User Preferences and change the setting to “Yes”. NOTE: Currently your Bid Calendar is displaying the GC Bid Date. Soon you will be able to also show Sub Bids Due date in a different color. We are also adding Sub Bids Due Time.

Capability of muitiple bids dates for one project.
As a design/builder we will have multiple bids packages all with different bid dates potentially 10-20 total and the bidders list is developed as it progresses. It would be nice to have a function that would allow multiple invites with different dates for one project. Otherwise you end up with having the same project entered multiple times.
11 votesYou can now create Bid Packages with different bid dates for each in our new User Interface. Simply click “Add a Bid Package” in the left side menu in a Project.
-
Select Multiple contacts that the invitation is sent to
Allow the selection of multiple contacts to receive bid invitations from the same company contacts.
This way contacts/e-mails could stay separate, but all parties that need to receive ITBs can.
This should be presented as an option under the company information/contacts page.
Currently multiple e-mail addresses need to be added under the primary contact.
11 votesThis feature is done and live!

When subs update their info, let me click an "Allow" button to automatically make the change.
When a sub updates their own info, send email alert to GC with an "Allow" button . GC can review the change and click "Allow" to automatically change their info instead of having to retype it.
11 votesWhen subs Update their info, there is now an “Accept Changes” button in the email alert you get. When clicked, the changes now update automatically. You no longer have to open up the contact and make the changes.

We are marking this idea as “Completed” since you can now quickly add a contact to a project from their Projects tab. First add the contact, then click their Projects tab and “Add Contact to Project”. Make sure to check the star(s) next to the trades you want to invite them to. You can also send the invitation or any notice directly from the same screen!

Login Screen - Move Subcontractor Login to Top, GC login bottom
When the subs go to the log in page it has both Users and subs log in on the same page. So i get several calls a day saying their email address is not recognized. That is very similar to how our old system worked, so they are confused.
10 votesThis has been completed! Your Subs will now see their login area on top to avoid any confusion some were having. GC’s login is underneath. It might take your company users some getting used to, but at least now all your subs will login easier!
