Have the YES or NO buttons directly on the ITB email
Currently, there is a response link for the subs to select so they can tell us if they plan on bidding or not.
Is there any way we can “dumb this down” to have the YES or NO buttons directly on the ITB email so it would literally be fool proof? We were talking today making it virtually impossible for a sub not to shoot back a quick yes or no. This would cut down on the amount of time a bid admin would have to spend calling the subs who never bothered responding.

On Sub's Update Info Screen, allow them to update/edit trades, too.
In Subcontractor Portal, currently subs can only update their contact info. Allow subs to update/edit their trades and groups, too. Do this by linking the pre qual form to the update information tab. We would only need to approve or deny the changes.
75 votesThis feature has been added! You now have the option to allow subs to update their trades and/or groups in your Subcontractor Portal.
1) Create a custom form in PipelinePrequal.
2) Go to Admin> System Preferences> Subs Portal and assign that form to your Portal.Let us know if you need help!

Allow Tracking of Awarded Subs as well as Quote Received & Bidding-Yes, but Not Received, and Send Notice to those
Allow an Notice to be sent to certain subs such as Awarded, Not Awarded (such as "Thank you for submitting a quote, but your company was not awarded") Quotation Received, Yes-bidding but Quote not received. This would allow us the opportunity to thank all sub-trades who have submitted quotations after the Bid/tender is closed, in addition, we can send a reminder to those that said they were going to send a quote but did not. Also, consider adding a feature that only allows Awarded subs access to plan room at that point.
74 votesThis feature is now live! It is really two separate additions.
1) If you track Bids Received, you can send a Notice to all subs who said YES they will bid, but haven’t submitted their bid. For these, you may want to “Hide” the notice from your portal, which is a new setting on the Add Notice screen.
2) You can track Awarded subs and send a Notice to those that were Not Awarded but said Yes to bidding.
You can also hide all the stuff below the Description (confirmation of bidding and login link). -
Create a Do Not Invite status so a company will remain in the database, but are prevented from selecting on projects.
This would allow us to keep contacts that we maybe have bad contact information for, or don't want bidding work (bad subs that we want to know about), or companies which are closed.
66 votesThis has been added! There is now a check-box in subcontractor/company records. Thanks for your feedback!

Show Subs Response Rate so we can delete unresponsive companies.
There should be a button or filter to show the bidders who decline to bid multiple time so we can delete that contact.
59 votesThis is done! You can see each sub’s Response Rate at the top of their record, and show those rates when Selecting Bidders (Admin> My Record> User Preferences, change Metrics to “Show”). You can also see a report under Companies> Reports> Response Metrics by Trade.

Auto Fill (repeat) in certain areas for all jobs made
Every time we make a new job we have to copy and paste in to the boxes all over again for something that we put on all of our invites. Is there a way that every time we make a new project to have certain messages automatically there when a new project is added?
56 votesThis is now do-able using the Copy Project feature. Here is how:
1) Projects> Add Project, the project name can be just an asterisk * so that it lists on the top of the project lists. Enter all the text that you want to show up on all Bid Invites in the Scope, Plans, and/or Other info boxes. You don’t need a Bid Date.
2) (OPTIONAL) Select all your Favorite Subs using Select Bidders> By Trade-Individually.
3) (OPTIONAL) Upload any standard documents that you upload frequently (you won’t have to upload them every time!).
4) Each time you want to create a new project, go to Projects> Copy Project. -
New Optional Function to Add bidders from an alphabetical list
Sometimes we have people in the office send out invites that are unfamiliar with the CSI Code Divisions. Is it possible to have a link that would show us all contacts in our database in alphabetical order where we'd be able to choose to add them to a project? Right now we have to click on one of the 16 division links, and then click on the specific section under each division. It'd be nice to have an alphabetical listing of all divisions combined, in case we only know the company name but not their type of work. Thanks!
51 votesYou can now add bidders from a list of your companies sorted Alphabetically at Project Options> Select Bidders> By Alphabetical.
Notice if there are multiple trades assigned to the company, you will see a bullet button to click to uncheck any trades you don’t want to invite them to. -

You can now add a sub directly to a project bidders list from their contact screen. Click on their Projects Tab and then the “Add Contact to Projects” button. Click on the project you want to add them to, then check the star(s) next to the trade(s) you want to invite them to. You can also send the invitation and/or any notices directly from this screen!

Add a reporting function that shows failed emails.
I would like to see a feature similar to the failed faxes report that shows me which emails did not go through. The process of notices showing up in my email inbox is not working properly on my computer.
48 votesEmail Logs now show all steps in the process of sending and receiving including Delivered, Opened, Clicked. You can view a project’s email logs in Project Options> Logs.

send to unsent
Set up a "Send to Unsent" button for the Invitations to Tender/Bid. It would make it easier to select several trades at a one time and then hitting the "Send to Unsent" just once. This button would also eliminate the chances of forgetting to send the invite after selecting the trade. At the present moment, the only way to check that all selected trade received the invitation is to compare the fax and email logs against the master log, which can be very time consuming.
47 votesThere is now a “Send to Unsent” sending option for an invitation.
-
Guest role (does not have the ability to add, edit, or delete contacts or projects)
Guest cannot Add, Modify or Delete a Project, Contact or Company, to limit who can add or delete contacts to ensure accuracy of contact lists and eliminate duplication, errors, incomplete entries, etc.
47 votesThis feature is now complete and live.

Add CSI divisions to the invitation
If you would add the CSI code and division name to the invitations pertaining to the certain contractor it would allow the contractor receiving the invite to see what divisions are on the project that relate to them so they know what to look for. It would also allow the sender to know what division they are in when they reply back via email with their invite attached.
42 votesEach User now has the option to show the CSI Code(s) and Trade(s) that each sub was invited to on their invitations. To activate this feature, go to Admin> My Record> User Preferences> “Show Sub’s Invited Trade(s) on Invites” (change from “Hide” to “Show”). The CSI code(s) and trade description(s) will then show up on both emailed and faxed invitations you send.
Thanks for your continued Feedback and to all who voted for this feature, which helped move it to the top of our priority list. Your continued Feedback & Ideas help make the program better!

When importing a sublist from another job, pick which trades to import instead of the whole job.
Right now you have to import the whole job and then go back and delete the trades you don't need (usually the specialty trades). We should be able to use check boxes to choose which trades to import and which trades to leave.
40 votesThis feature has been added! When copying a bid list from another project, you now have the option to deselect any trades that are not needed. This feature is available at: Project Options> Select Bidders> Copy Bid List.

View multiple contacts within one Company record
If a company has multiple contacts at the same address, be able to show them all in one record.
37 votesThis feature is complete! You can now enter multiple contacts in one company record, and change the primary contact on a project by project basis from the Select Bidders screen or the Bid Lists.

Option to change who the Invitation and Addendum is "From".
Allow the "From: " to be other than the person that logged in. Be able to select from any of our company users.
37 votesThis feature you requested or voted for has been added! You can now change who invitations are sent from. From the Project Info screen, go to Settings, and at the top you will see a pull-down of your company users you can edit as the “From”.

Allow subs to see other projects I invited them to & Combine OPR and Response page.
Currently subs have to login to the plan room separately for each project they were invited to. In addition, they respond on one screen, then have to go to another screen to login to the plan room. Would be easier for them if it were all combined.
32 votesThe Response Link and Online Plan Room have been combined into one “Portal” for your subs to do everything at once, for the project they received the bid invitation as well as any other projects you invited them to.
- Your emailed subs no longer need to login to your planroom, they just click a link in their email. - Your faxed subs will now be able to login to respond and download plans all in one place. NOTE: Each user has the option of hiding or showing the original check boxes on the fax allowing them to check a box and fax back their response. The preference is available at: Admin> My Record> User Preferences. - Faxed Invitations and Addenda now reminds subs if they responded or not, and asks them to respond if they haven’t (online). -
Include Sending Log (faxes and emails) on bid list screen as an option.
Allow an option to show sending status per company in a column on the bidders list. Show Faxes Sent/failed, emails dropped/bounced, or Delivered/Opened/Clicked.
31 votesThis feature is now live! You have the option to show the email and/or fax status on the bid list via your Admin> System Preferences> Bidder List Preferences.

You can now manually enter and track which sub actually submitted a bid to you. Use the new Admin>System Preference>Bidders List Preference and “Show” Bid Received so that the new “Rcvd” column shows up on your Bidder List screen. (Only users with Admin authority role will be able to edit your System Preference).

Be able to select bidders by distance from zip code of project
Currently when selection bidders you have to go through or entire list even if they are 500 miles away from the project and would never bid on it. By being able to search by distance from zip code do not have to go through the entire list only the bidders that are with so many miles of the project.
27 votesThe new Select Bidders function has been added!
This new feature is accessible within your project via Project Options>Select Bidders>By Trade-ALL. The function adds all subs within your selected trades to your bidders list, with the option to filter out by Zip code radius and/or by one or more groups.
The other method of selecting bidders is still there. Its menu button has been changed to “Select Bidders>By Trade-Individually”. You can use the new function to select all the subs within your trades, and then go back and use the old method to deselect individual subs if you don’t want to invite everyone.
We hope this new feature saves you time!

Set up an automated email reminder - to trades who are unconfirmed
When trades are "unconfirmed" and you need to know who is pricing - have an automated email that is set to be sent to all "unconfirmed" (x) days before closing and continue to send each day or every other day till they respond.
24 votesIn a project, you will notice a new tab called “Alerts”. You can now set an automated alert to resend your Bid Invitation to those that haven’t responded. It will keep sending until they respond, starting “x” days before bid date, sending every “x” days up until “x” days before bid date. You can also add a couple words before the Emailed Subject line to get their attention, as well as after the Invitation title. By default, it will say “PLEASE RESPOND”, but you can edit those words. You have the option to send based on the sub’s default sending setting, or you can not send to anyone that is set to send via fax.
